WELCOME to the Aspen Board of REALTORS®, proudly serving more than 635 members and affiliates in the Roaring Fork Valley.
Our MISSION is to serve our members by providing programs and services that empower them to conduct their business successfully with integrity and competence.
We provide opportunities for members to grow professionally and in their business through events, education offerings, and programs throughout the year. We offer onsite and e-learning mandatory courses and opportunities for receiving higher education courses and designations.
Through our ongoing Public Relations campaign we have been working to improve communication with members and the public. As a result of these efforts we have been building positive relationships with local media and community partnerships through our charitable events, community volunteer days, and affiliate partnerships and programs.
RPAC: Your Best Investment in Real Estate
We educate and inform our members on key legislative and regulatory issues facing the real estate industry. We provide “The Observer” which reports collectively on the real estate issues affecting the cities and counties in the Roaring Fork Valley.
Task Force/Committee Involvement
We provide meetings to discuss, communicate, and solve important industry issues as they arise.
Understanding your technology needs is crucial. We strive to educate and promote the latest in technology offerings through education courses and membership meetings. Our MLS offers onsite and in office training for the MLS and provides contract software for members to use at no cost. Our education programs, Facebook site and ABOR website provide up-to-date information on real estate news, technology, legislation, member benefits, services, and programs.
Mediation, Arbitration, and Ombudsman Training and Services
We provide annual training and participation in our Professional Standards programs. We offer specialized training in roles of the grievance committee, hearing panels, mediation, and ombudsman training. We offer locally the opportunity to file complaints, work out grievances, and solve arbitration and ethics hearing complaints. We have a well trained staff and committee structure to hear these grievances locally.
Our leadership understands your needs and concerns regarding community involvement and participation. We provide opportunities to network and get involved in community programs such as our Heldman/King Memorial Scholarship Program, Aspen Music Festival and School, Community Service Days, and our special programs with our Affiliate partners.
Home Tours, Caravans, and Open House Luncheon Services
Our staff organizes semi-annual home tours each year, weekly
caravans for new listings in Aspen, Snowmass Village, and Basalt, and provides an online calendar to market daily open house luncheons.
We provide instant real time information on industry issues by communicating through our Memberclicks E-List program, Facebook site, ABOR Website, and Aspen Business Journal. We offer office outreach programs, member luncheons, broker’s forums, new member orientation, and networking events, which provide additional settings for us to learn about member needs and interests.
